Education and Training
Stephen Terracciano, PhD, ABPP, graduated Phi Beta Kappa, earning his B.A. with a major concentration in Psychology and a minor concentration in Sociology, from Hofstra University in 1992. He pursued graduate education immediately after completing undergraduate study, and earned his PhD in Combined Clinical & School Psychology from Hofstra University in 2000.
Credentials
Dr. Terracciano has been licensed as a Psychologist in New York State since 2003 and holds a New York State Permanent School Psychologist Certificate, issued 2006. While his doctoral training was predominantly in cognitive-behavioral theory, research, and practice of clinical and school psychology, he pursued credentialing to demonstrate competency in this specialty scope of practice. In 2011, Dr. Terracciano received Specialty Board Certification in Behavioral & Cognitive Psychology, from the American Board of Professional Psychology. In 2021, he became registered for the state of Florida as an out-of-state telehealth provider.
